Overview: As the dedicated support organization for the leading start-up and globally-impactful knowlege-based companies in Upstate South Carolina (and beyond), NEXT is one of the most important economic development organizations in the Carolinas. However, NEXT and many of the cash-strapped tech start-ups they work with, have a common problem: difficulty succinctly crafting their important stories and getting those stories to interested reporters.

Outcome: bitTyrant has already helped to get NEXT, UCAN (Upstate Carolina Angel Network), Intern Greenville, and The NEXT Big Thing some much-deserved media coverage with area print, radio, and television news outlets. We know how to sift out the stories that matter (and not waste a client’s money if a story isn’t quite right for media coverage). We know the reporters that will care about those stories, and we know how to connect the dots. NEXT and the organizations they represent are creating the economic future of Upstate South Carolina, and we look forward to helping them continue to spread the word and prosper.
